Classification Limitations

A classification limitation is an endorsement that can be found on some general liability policies that will limit coverage to only claims involving the specific classification(s) listed on an insurance policy. For example, if a plumber's insurnace policy only list a classification code for residential or domestic plumbing (#98483) then it is very likely a claim involving a roof repair will be denied by the insurance company.
